Biography of Shahida Noor


Shahida Noor working experience with development and humanitarian organizations. her professional pursuits, She  actively engaged with the underprivileged and downtrodden communities hit by disasters, Her professional strength lies in a fact that I possess good knowledge and practical skills in Humanitarian work especially in relief, DRR / DRM , rehabilitation, development, climate change,   psychosocial, mental health and Children issues particularly protection during acute emergency phase. During flood-2010 project Shahida Noor provided not only technical support to LHDP Team and Oxfam field team but also SHe led the WASH project and achieved outstanding outcomes within a due period of time. In flood-2007 and 2010, 2011. she worked in close coordination with Oxfam GB, UNDP,  UN Clusters, Care International in Pakistan, district line departments, local stakeholders and DDMAs. she has contributed in building my capacity and clarity on: Gender, Women rights, Community mobilization, child protection, women empowerment, Livelihood, Education, public health promotion, Monitoring and Evaluation, Reporting, climate change, and Disaster management and community infrastructure and women development. Having a good knowledge of international Humanitarian conventions of human rights and standards, while working in emergencies as well as SPHERE Standers, PHAST, PATs, and HAP.  With this experience and learning, she feels strongly motivated to take challenging assignments ahead so she can deliver to the best of her ability for the cause of community and goal of the organization.
